What is K-BPR
“Act on Safety Control of Consumer Chemical Products and Biocides (hereinafter referred to as K-BPR)” aims to protect public health and the environment by stipulating matters related to risk assessment of household chemical products, approval of biocidal substances and biocidal products, standards for biocidal-treated products, and relief of damages caused by biocidal products.
Manufacturers and importers of consumer-use household chemical products designated as “consumer chemical products subject to safety confirmation (CCPSC)” and “biocides” must comply with the obligations stipulated in K-BPR prior to manufacturing or importing such products.
